The UWA French Club for students and jeunes interested in French language and culture. You don't have to speak or learn French at UWA to become a member.
The UWA French Club is run by students for those who appreciate any aspect of France and French Culture; whether it be French interior design, the Paris Fashion Festival, Parisienne style, the Paris tourist attractions, French cult cinema, the French language or even just an appreciation of French cuisine and pastries!
You don't need to speak French or attend the University of Western Australia to be a part of our club.
The French Club numerous events each year including film nights:
- a French play
- wine and cheese appreciation evenings
-a Jazz Soiree, cooking classes
- European styled parties
-fortnightly Francophone French conversation meetups.
Our club offers many social opportunities for members (including non French speaking members) and supports the advancement of French language skills through its various Francophone programs over the year.
